We have just finished this media wall for a customer in Norwich. The brief was to build a centralised Media wall with clean lines to accommodate the television and an electric fireplace.
Firstly we built the frame work of the media wall from 3”x2” studwork, we then built a box from 18mm MDF to house the television. The box was then fitted to the studwork with additional timber bearings for the TV mount. Lower down the studwork was installed to accommodate the electric fireplace.
Main studwork built with MDF box for TV clamped in position
Lower stud work built and TV temporarily mounted
„..All connections were made and are easily accessible behind the fireplace...”
The entire wall was then clad in 18mm MDF and the openings were formed by routering out the face of the MDF. All connections were made and are easily accessible behind the fireplace
Media wall being fitted with MDF covering
TV and Fireplace fitted, skirting installed and ready for decorating
Skirting was then made to replicate the existing in the room and fitted to finish. The media wall is now ready for decorating.
